Access statement

We deliver great experiences to all our guests. Accessibility is about more than just physical facilities, it's our culture and attitude that sets us apart. We'll make you feel comfortable and at ease and be on hand should you need us.

We've made every effort to provide you with a detailed and accurate access statement on each of our venue websites but, if there's anything we haven't covered, or you have a particular enquiry, please let us know.

Here is a quick summary of each venue’s accessibility:

Burleigh Court Conference Centre and Hotel

We are proud to be one of only 9 hotels in the UK to have the Mobility 3 accreditation, making us one of the most accessible hotel venues in the country.

Being a member of the National Accessible Scheme means we have been independently evaluated by trained assessors against demanding criteria, so you can be confident that your needs are covered.

We have 11 accessible bedrooms out of a total of 185, 7 of which have level entry showers, 4 with baths (left and right-hand versions). In addition, 4 of our accessible rooms have adjoining doors to another bedroom for guests who need to have their carer nearby.

We have 9 designated accessible parking spaces close to entrances - 5 at the main entrance and 4 at the side entrance. All our parking is free of charge and we have a drop off point at the main entrance with a covered walkway.

By request, we can also provide you with:

  • Invacare Birdie Hoist (guests are encouraged to bring their own sling due to hygiene reasons)
  • Shower Stool
  • Shower Stool with removal back and arms
  • Set of bed raisers

Holywell Park Conference Centre

We take care to ensure a seamless and pleasurable journey for all our guests. Set in beautiful surroundings by the lake in Loughborough University’s Science and Enterprise Park, entry to the Conference Centre is via a level bridge walkway across the lake.

We have 5 designated accessible parking spaces close to the entrance and all our parking is free of charge. We have a drop off point at the main entrance with a covered walkway and the main entrance has a powered assisted door.

The reception desk is at wheelchair height and there is plenty of seating in the main reception area, should you need it. We have a refuge point on the first floor close to the escape stairs and all our ground floor exits have level thresholds with a hard, slip-resistant floor.

Accessible toilets on the first floor which are accessible via a spacious lift.

Holywell Park's full access statement

The Link Hotel

Customer service is at the heart of what we do and is why we are ranked as Loughborough’s number 1 hotel on TripAdvisor.

Out of a total of 94 bedrooms, 4 are fully accessible with level entry showers and full room service is available.

We have four designated accessible parking spaces at the main front entrance and staff will happily assist with luggage. If you'd like to leave it in your vehicle whilst you check in, just let Reception know you need help with your luggage and we'll come out to you. All our parking is free of charge

The approach and entrance to Reception is a level access and all doors, entrances and corridors are wide enough for wheelchairs, walking aids and pushchairs. The lobby and reception areas have a hard, non-slip floor which is level throughout with plenty of seating, should you require it.

We have an accessible unisex toilet just off the main reception area.

Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel

We are proud to have designed The Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel to be fully accessible to all our para athlete guests. Every area is designed to be fully accessible and all our bedrooms have large door frames to accommodate wheelchairs. Eight of the rooms are fully DDA compliant, 4 of which are altitude rooms, making our unique facilities accessible for all.
